I think that i have improved really well because Mr.Oldfield is a great teacher. He teaches us all we need to know and he does a very good job on it! This years math class is the best!!

The first week we learned to add and subtract negative numbers. I did very good job on this and I’m proud of my work.The second week we did multiply and divide negative numbers. This was easy because when u multiply two negative it is a positive so that was really easy. The third thing we did was the distributive property, I forget how to do this to be honest… The fourth thing was combine like terms and combine like terms using the distributive property,I struggled at first but then got the hang of it.

I’m gonna explain how to find the square root of 39.

1st you would 6*6=36. Then 7*7=49.

2nd you would draw a number line on your white board. you would find your half way point.

3rd you would add 36+6.5=42.5.

last you would see if 39 is closer to 42.5 or 49 is closer to 42.5.  Its closer to 39.
